Everything but the Steel Chair: Rope and Wrestling with Belial and Brig
This is a Saturday Special event to make the most out of having our wonderful Scottish guests! There will be no 101 session, and one session will run all day, with breaks.
Please note that this event will not be taking place at Dance Studio Leeds. The venue will be announced to attendees a week before the event, but it is wheelchair accessible, less than half a mile from our usual studio, and there's street parking nearby. This venue can get quite hot in warm weather and ventilation is very limited - please plan accordingly. Any questions drop us a line.
Everything but the Steel Chair: Rope and Wrestling
This class is an on going dialogue between Belial (a very skilled grappler who doesn't understand rope) and Brig (an okay I guess grappler with a long love and history of rope). In this we will look at skills derived from BJJ and wrestling to take partners to the ground and keep them there while we tie them up. There will also be plenty of time for games.
Prerequisites:
A solid single column
Some knowledge of the limits of your own body and an ability to communicate that.

Brig
(he/him)Brig is been rumoured to be a Scots/kiwi chaotic human hybrid who has been in the scene and tying people up for over ten years now. Their tying style is politely described as 'dynamic'.
Belial
(he/him)"FetLife's Smartest Himbo" Belial engages attendees with enthusiasm, empathy and humour to deliver memorable and unique learning experiences. Evidenced by mountains of positive user reviews, Belial is an experienced educator who delivers incredible sessions on everything from Rough Body play to Dating Etiquette.
COVID-19 Policy
We ask that you only attend our events if you're fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (unless medically exempt) AND take an LFT on the day of the event, with a negative result. We will check this on the door. We have LFTs you can use, please arrive 15 minutes before stated start time to do so.
We welcome the use of respirators and face masks, but they are not compulsory.
Refunds
We will refund any ticket no questions asked until 48hrs before the event start. If you request a refund after that cut-off, we will offer the spare ticket(s) to our waiting list and the general public - you will receive a refund only if we manage to sell the ticket(s).
To request a refund, use the self-service refund link in your order confirmation email. You can also visit your order page and follow the refund link from there.
You are more than welcome to make your own arrangements and give up your ticket(s) to someone that you know is looking. The name on the ticket makes no difference to us as long as the person attending is not banned.
As our events are over-subscribed and varied in price, we do not transfer tickets from one event to the next.
